Description
Inspired by the field mouse in one of Robert Burns’s many poems, this Whisky is an exciting marriage between single-cask, single malts made exclusively in the beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Matured in old American Bourbon casks, this Whisky has a big flavour full of sweet and spicy notes. At 46.8%, this No Age Stated Whisky has no colouring beyond what it was gifted naturally by the cask. Similarly, it doesn’t undergo any chill-filtration. With an intensely sweet aroma initially, this evolves into something a little more floral with light barley and spicy honey tones. Upon the first sip, you’ll be warmed by an explosion of different spices littered with raisin along with other fructiferous notes with a unique sugary, fudgey character. The finish is subtle but sweet with hints of milky cereals, late meringue but an overarching oaky flavour.*Whilst stocks last
