This Champagne is made from a delicate blend of reserve wines aged for over 15 years in the Bollinger’s Cellars with a handful of new harvest grapes thrown in for good measure. The blend, on average, consists of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, harvested from around 30 different crus in Champagne. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes come exclusively from grands and premiers crus. With no vintage listed on this Champagne, it breaks all stigma around servings and can be enjoyed on any special occasion. In terms of presentation, you don’t get any more classic than Bollinger Special Cuvée. It’s golden colour is topped by a fine mousse, spiced ripe fruits dominate the aroma whilst roasted apple & peach burst across the palate. The long lasting finish is overflowing with fresh baked brioche & walnut, resulting in an overall subtle but lengthy vivacity. Enjoy this great Champagne as soon as it’s delivered or gift it to somebody and let them age. Best served chilled to between 10°C & 12°C, it’s a fantastic aperitif or when served alongside seafood like Sushi, Prawn, Crayfish & grilled lobster.
