White Rabbit Cocktail

If you love a Brandy Alexander cocktail, then you will love this springtime twist on that drink that creates our White Rabbit Cocktail. This cocktail blends the almond flavours of amaretto with sour lemon and sweet vanilla. A fabulous springtime drink that your guests will love.

Ingredients

How to make it:

Take a cocktail shaker and fill with the gin, amaretto and lemon curd, along with the vanilla paste. Add the handful of ice and shake until you can feel the cold temperate through the outside of the shaker.

Carefully strain the mixture into two small cocktail glasses and garnish with delicate edible flowers before serving. The finished result with be a beautiful springtime cocktail that your guests won’t be able to stop themselves from taking photos of.

Simnel Cake Sour

While easter is known for easter eggs and bunny rabbits, it’s known for the delicious spices of the season too. These are all included in a simnel cake, so we have included them in our Simnel Cake Sour too. It’s an easter twist on the Amaretto Sour cocktail. The splash of orange juice and dusting of cinnamon will give you what can only be described as simnel cake in a glass.

Ingredients

How to make it:

The first thing you will need to do is make the spiced syrup for this cocktail. Take a saucepan and place 100ml of water into it. Add the golden caster sugar, orange zest, cinnamon, mixed spice and dried ginger to the water. Gently bring the mixture to the boil. Once boiling turn down the heat and allow the mixture to cool completely. When the mixture is cool pour it through a sieve into a jug so it can be chilled until needed. (Side Note: It will keep in the fridge for up to one week).

Take the golden marzipan and roll it into 4 equal sized balls. Place these into a baking sheet and grill for two to three minutes. You will need to wait until the very top of the marzipan ball is lightly toasted. Place the marzipan balls to a side to cool. When they have cooled, thread them onto the centre of a cocktail stick.

Finally fill four tumbler glasses with ice. You will then need to add the brandy, amaretto, lemon and orange juice. Place the Madeira and spiced syrup into a cocktail shaker with a large handful of ice and shake. You will need to shake the mixture until it is icy cold. Strain this mixture equally into the four tumblers, add the garnish of the toasted marzipan ball and serve immediately.

Grownups like chocolate too! This chocolate martini gives the adult way to drink chocolate. It’s an indulgent chocolate martini with Irish cream, coffee liqueur vodka and (of course) chocolate!
